Usher Team Application

Thank you for taking the time to consider partnering with ICC on our Sunday morning Usher Team to be an important part of helping people feel welcome and find a place to worship and hear God’s Word shared on Sunday mornings! Please take some time to read the following role description and pray if it is where the Lord is leading you to serve.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To help people feel welcome into our services and help with different service elements as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend pre-service meeting to go over service flow and connect with other Usher Team Members. Help people find a place to sit, set up or take down chairs as needed during or after services, pass offering, and help with communion.

TIME INVESTMENT
First Service:
7:30A – 9:15A

Second Service:
9:15 – 10:45A

Third Service:
10:45A – 12:15A

You can serve first, second, &/or third service, one Sunday a month or two Sundays a month, depending on openings. Every shift rotates the 5th Sundays in the year. We also have opportunities to serve during Worship Nights and special holidays (Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.) when we have extra services.

COMMITMENT
1 year (re-evaluate every year)

PREREQUISITES
Regular attender of ICC for at least 3 months
Completed INTRO Class or are signed up for next class
Fill out ICC participant application

TRAINING
Shadow another Usher Team member
Have another Usher Team member shadow you
