Lobby - Lobby Greeter Application

Thank you for taking the time to consider partnering with ICC on our Sunday morning Lobby Team to be an important part of welcoming people into our Sunday worship! Please take some time to read the following role description and pray if it is where the Lord is leading you to serve.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: 
  • To be a welcoming presence of ICC as people are entering our Lobby and checking into services. 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Stand in the Lobby smiling and saying “Hello, Good Morning, etc.” 
  • Look for new faces and people with a question mark over their heads. 
  • Help with people’s questions as needed: where do kids check-in, where are restrooms, where is the auditorium, direct people to Welcome Center for ministry questions, etc. 
  • Knowing the importance of welcoming people into Sunday worship. 
TIME INVESTMENT: 
  • First Service: 8:15A – 8:55A 
  • Second Service: 10:00A – 10:40A 
  • You can serve first &/or second service, one Sunday a month or two Sundays a month, depending on openings. 
  • Every shift rotates the 5th Sundays in the year. 
  • We also have opportunities to serve during Worship Nights and special holidays (Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.) when we have extra services. 
COMMITMENT: 
  • 1 year (re-evaluate every year) 
PREREQUISITES: 
  • Regular attender of ICC for at least 3 months. 
  • Completed INTRO Class or are signed up for next class. 
  • Fill out ICC participant application.
